Another busy year has come and passed. HydraTech got together for the annual Christmas lunch at deSha’s American Tavern. I was in charge of most of the games and made sure this year’s activities were enjoyable and unique. Normally, we get a list of facts, two supplied by each employee. With this list we must attach a name to each fact, attempting to connect each fact to the correct person. Every year each employee seemed to go blank when I asked for two interesting facts about themselves. So this year they sat down with odd questions about themselves and others had to guess their answers. There were simple questions like, “do you plan on going sledding this year” and strange ones such as, “would you be willing to lose your sense of taste to own your dream home”. This entertainment kept the employees talking even after the party.

Peter gave his yearly presentation highlighting the best moments of the year and projecting the accomplishments of 2024. Then the food was brought in and it was better than anticipated. I went home with a full stomach, fun stories, and anticipation for next year.
