Thank you, OTEC and the Greater Columbus Convention Center, for hosting another successful trade show. HydraTech was an exhibitor again this year. There was a large turnout from multiple municipalities, contractors, speakers, and students.
Being a smaller company, trade shows are a great way to interact with these companies. Making it easier to educate them on the differences between grouting a leak, short-term, and a longer repair method of sealing the joint with our HydraTite internal joint seal. And it’s a nice way to catch up with individuals/companies that you’ve met at previous shows.
This year’s OTEC theme was Preparing for the Future: Improving the transportation network to support safety, workforce mobility, and economic investments. They had speakers who helped you to understand processes and methods within the industry better. This is vital in making this a better place for so many future generations. With their final keynote speaker, Rachel DeAlto, a communication and relatability expert. Her speech was about leadership, the power of communication, customer experience, sales, and communication.
