In my 13 years of HydraTite installations, the quality and workmanship of the material and equipment sent to the jobsite is second to none. For this most recent installation – the first for this client – there was a lot of interest on whether the joint seal would solve this ongoing problem of one of the influent their 54-inch pipes at a large wastewater treatment plant. With over 20 utility staff on site that morning, the HydraTite joint seal install went perfect and performed flawlessly when the client placed the pipeline back in service.

Our project was to find an appropriate repair for leaking joints in 36” concrete pipe underneath an earthen dam in Ghent, WV. HydraTech was familiar with our problem and well prepared to supply a solution. We were pleased with their knowledge and their ability to respond in a timely manner. As it turned out, our original request was for three seals; however, it quickly became evident that all thirteen joints needed to be sealed.
Their quick response to provide and install the additional seals was most appreciated. We are very satisfied with the product and the people that provide the service.
Hydratech has been an excellent subcontractor to work with on the Catawba River Pump Station Project. They provide prompt responses to questions and helpful insight during coordination meetings. Their on-site work was completed to the satisfaction of the Engineer and Owner in less time than expected.
Hydra Tech was able to successfully repair these joints this past summer 2021 with their joint seals. ODOT inspected their work shortly thereafter, and everything appeared to look good.
