Camaraderie & Good Food

Between the day-to-day tasks, it can become easy for me to ostracize myself in a mound of work. I appreciate the frequent company-wide events help pull me out of this. This year we have had fun sharing lunch a few times and even going out for a round of mini golf.
Today we got together for a potluck lunch centered on BLTs. Everyone brought something great, but I selfishly believe my home-baked cookies were the best. There were none left for me to take home.
I always learn something fun about my coworkers. This time I found out that a lot of the vintage games that I collect, came out when two of my coworkers were closer to my age and they were fans as well. I also learned that Rob almost always avoids vegetables, as he was greeted with astonishment when he sat down with a few carrots on his plate.
These sort of things make me feel more connected to the people I work with, and has made my time here at HydraTech much more enjoyable. Can’t wait until we all get together again soon.
